Students who have obtained education from a Canadian Designated Learning Institution (DLI) are eligible to obtain a Post Graduate Work Permit. A PGWP holder can work for any employer anywhere in Canada for as many hours in a day they wish to. This does not require the applicant to hold a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

The validity of a PGWP is anywhere between 8 months to 3 years and the application must be submitted within 180 days of the completion of studies or till expiry of your study permit which day is earlier.
